Where in the world is mbrooksfit?

Hey y’all. Sorry I have been away… not physically, but mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Don’t worry, I am still busting my butt at Foundry Fitness. Lots and lots of burpees… well, except today. We had an awesome, [thankfully] burpee-free  60-minute workout:

Warm-up: high-knees, butt-kicks, jumping jacks, mountain climbers, reverse lunges, push-ups, in-and-outs, and a 2-minute plank.

Set #1: Pyramid of KB swings, goblet squats and push-ups. Start with 15 each, then 14 each, then 13 each… all the way down to 1 each. Followed by 10x 200 meter runs.

Set #2: 4 Rounds of 20 clean & press followed by 50 battle rope slams. Then run again.

Set #3: 10 minutes of tearing up my abs with TRX reverse crunches and weighted v-ups.

But I digress.

I have mentally been separate from my blog, and have been working on extreme self-growth. I have made a total mind-set change that will change my life forever.

I have set an intention: I will change my life. I will create life freedom. AND I will help others reach their dreams along the way. I will. I have.

I just got back from a powerful [business] conference in Orlando, FL. I have never been surrounding by so many like-minded, inspirational, and full-hearted people. Every time I go, my metaphorical cup gets refilled and I become energized.

My business partners are not only some of my closest friends, but they are my family.

These beautiful people help me to continue pursuing my dreams. They push me to be the best version of myself. They make me believe in this incredible opportunity, in others, and most importantly, in myself.

Whoa, I have changed.

For the first time in my life, I have confidence. I have conviction. I have posture. I have courage. And I have passion.

For the first time my desire to succeed has become bigger than my fear to succeed.

For the first time I have taken my pain and used it to push myself out of this “life-rut” I’ve been living.Remember: Pain is only temporary.

I am super excited about my future. But I am even more excited about the future of those that I am bringing along with me.

So let’s kick ass, because FREEDOM IS COMING!

“A dream without a plan is merely a wish.” -unknown

Have you ever wanted something so badly that it kept you up every night, filled your brain every milli-second and/or caused you to do crazy things?

I have. Well, I do. I want FREEDOM.

Merriam-Webster Definition of freedom:

the quality or state of being free, as the absence of necessity, coercion or constraint in choice or action

Most people think they have freedom by being a U.S. Citizen, others believe they have freedom by not caring what others think, but what if you could have TIME freedom, FINANCIAL freedom, and LIFE freedom? That is what I’m talking about: freedom to do what I want, with who I want, when I want… That would be sweet.

Well, the truth is, we can all dream about this amazing fantasy life. But not all of us will have it.

“Your life will change when you put more energy into your dreams than into your fears.”

Why can’t we all be free? Well, many of us have fear. Fear of failure. Fear of change. Fear of the unknown. Fear of success. And we let that fear control us.

Not me. Not anymore.

  • I will have time to spend with my friends and family.
  • I will have money to have my own health & wellness business. (Juice bar, anyone?)
  • I will be able to help others live their dreams, JUST LIKE ME.
  • I will have freedom. I will be fearless. And I will lead others who are ready to do the same.

“Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment.” -Jim Rohn

I am focused. I am determined. I am ready to grow. I am ready to sacrifice. I will be free!

I know the steps. I have the support. I can see my success.

Now… Who  with me?!?!?!

“Short-term imbalance, for long-term freedom.” -Michael Epstein
